In recognition of her excellence, Umeh was awarded the Best Supporting Actress at the 2024 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA). Additionally, the “Breath of Life” movie star is a nominee for the 2023 The Future Awards Africa.
Bambam
Bamike Olauwumi Adebuniyan, popularly known as Bambam is fast rising to become a fan-favorite in Nollywood. The budding screen queen rose to limelight through the BBnaija Double Wahala season. Bamike kick-started her acting career in 2017, and almost a decade later, she has appeared in some of the industry’s blockbusters with versatile roles, while becoming a popular face in Nollywood romance. Her most recent as ‘Chioma’ in Omoni Oboli’s “Love in Every Word” has yet again established her excellence as an actor, with the movie garnering over 2.7 million views in one day.
Uche Montana
Uche Montana brings a combination of her striking beauty and talent to the screens. Her debut role as a housemaid in “Poison Ivy” paved the way for a long list of roles in movies and television series. Some of her most popular roles have been in “A Weekend to Forget”, “The Betrayed,” “Dinner At My Place”, ” The Cake Life of Abuja Housewives”, “Hire a Woman”, and “Wedding Night Blues”, among others. The Lagos-bred actor is also a recipient of the MAYA Awards for her outstanding role as Vina in Africa Magic’s Hush.
Sandra Okunzuwa
‘Ekemini’ in “Blind Spot” was Sandra Okunzuwa’s first role on television. Since she made that appearance in 2018, the Benin belle has not only evolved into one of Nollywood’s actresses. With her 2023 Netflix drama, “Something Like Gold,” the Nigerian lawyer cum actor added the well deserved title of a producer to her cap. She has gone on to build her portfolio with another high-performing Nollywood film, “Risking It All,” released in 2025. A brilliant thespian with that intriguing allure, Sandra Okunzuwa was recognized with an Award from the Eko Star Film and TV Award in 2021.
Tomi Ojo
Tomi Ojo is one of those actors that shine like they were born for the screens. A dark, melanin beauty, Tomi got into acting through Bovi’s comedy series on YouTube, “Back to School”. Her foray into the world of acting may have been the most spontaneous, but every one of her roles show that she came prepared to kill. Although she is relatively new in the industry, Tomi has appeared in several Nollywood favourites. Some of these are Netflix’s “Far from Home”, “Adire”, “All of Us”, “The Wives”, “Ada Omo Daddy” and “Leaked”, and A Heart on the Line”, among others.
