To be eligible for admission into any tertiary institution in Nigeria, candidates must be at least 16 years old on or before September 30, 2025. However, exceptional candidates under the age of 15 may be considered for admission if they achieve a minimum score of 280 in the UTME and excel in their Senior Secondary Certificate and post-UTME examinations.

The 2025 UTME schedule is now official, and prospective candidates are advised to take note of the key dates and timelines. With the introduction of a special mock UTME for underage candidates, JAMB has demonstrated its commitment to providing equal opportunities for all candidates. As the registration period commences, candidates are encouraged to prepare thoroughly and make the most of this opportunity to secure admission into their preferred tertiary institutions.
