Purp Clinches Crown as Nigerian Idol Season 10 Champion

Sunday night marked a thrilling end of Nigerian Idol Season 10, as Purp (Anu Agosta, popularly known as Purp officially claimed the crown. The 26-year old literally rose from her mother’s church choir to the global stage! The grand finale of the show aired live on July 13, 2025, and saw the talented Lagos native battle against Raymu in a commendable display of vocal talent, stage presence, and a brilliant delivery.

The winner of Nigerian Idol Season 10, Purp was born and raised in Lagos. Her passion for music developed quite early, as she grew up singing in her mother’s church choir. The 25-year old singer is a graduate of Dramatic Arts from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife.
